The perspective sucks us right in, like we were sitting on a griffin of our own. It really feels like I am tipping forward, heading for the ground at high speed. I am amazed by this strong effect you created! It is when the viewer feels the painting, becomes part of it, that the painter can pat his own shoulder and be proud.
Besides, the griffins are well painted. Especially the head feathers, which look smooth.
I also want to give you compliments on the landscape below. You seem to understand how shallow water looks from above, and the azur colour is perfect! But one thing bothers me slightly: the water appears 'dry' at some places, when it should look 'wet'. Especially in the upper left corner. It looks grainy and dry. Maybe you could have left out the waves...? Or maybe some completely white dabs on the surface (sunlight flickering on the surface) would add a more wet water-look?
Most of all: thumbs up for the perspective!
