Very nice composition and choice of colors. I like the sense of openness and aerial perspective. I don't feel the rendering of Mr. Chubbybelt is on par with the landscape and dragon, though. Otherwise, the overall feel is great!

Your paintings get better and better....this is delightful...love it. Suggestion/Crit: the dragons head would look better as a 3/4 profile...this would relieve the cramped feel BaronImpossible mentions but would also increase tension within the picture as it would give the head more movement towards the little beardy dude...making his discovery all the more imminent. All just in my opinion of course.

You're meeting more and more with precission and I really appreciate such direction. Gotta say more and more I am enjoying your work Concerning style disproportion between Mr.Chubbybelt and the rest of the image as it has been noticed by  DigitalDust I thing little more shadows in the eyes and face would fix that strange feeling. Then there are minor features which has wrong or inverse shadowing (see claws on dragon's first fingers). But those are just details +9/10

It's easy to see all the work and effort you've putted into this The softness of the pic is amazing. My only thought is that maybe you should've traded that softness for some well defined, strong scales on the dragon, unlike those blurred ones you made.
